Club Builds 'Wall of Diapers' for Military Families
Members of the Republican Federated Women of The Villages’ Armed Services & Americanism Committee, led by Chair Meg Beck, gathered over 5,600 diapers in the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day.
Florida Federation of Republican Women Armed Services Chair Ramona Rood visited The Villages on May 11 to celebrate the club’s successful drive and meet with club members. Diapers were delivered to both active duty military families and Project SOS (“Save Our Soldiers”), a local support agency for former military members.
