Club Awards Two $1,000 Scholarships

North Pulaski Republican Women in central Arkansas awarded two deserving seniors with the Phyllis Kincannon Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each. 

The winners submitted essays on "Why My Vote is Important." Our two winners were Clark Wing, a senior from North Little Rock High School who will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall majoring in business marketing; and Faith Maynard, a senior from Sylvan Hills High School who will attend the University of Central Arkansas to study biology with a concentration in pre-vet in the fall.

Both had fantastic essays and lots of community service, and were very deserving students. We had many awesome entries this year, and it was a hard pick, but the scholarship committee feels confident that these two will go on to do good things in this world.
