Caring for America, starting in the Mid-South

Mid-South Food Bank is preparing for people to stay home for 14 days by assembling food boxes with non-perishable food to help low-income and vulnerable populations. The food boxes will be available through their network of partner food pantries in the area. Each will contain about 30 pounds of canned and packaged food.

Republican Women of Purpose (TN) has donated $500 from the Caring for America budget to help during this national crisis. Since the April meeting has been canceled, we would like to challenge our members to donate their April luncheon fee ($25) to the Mid-South Food Bank. Each donation will cover the cost of three boxes!

The club's board members stepped up to the challenge by donoating more than $975 to the Mid-South Food Bank!

The combined donations from the board and the Caring for America program will provide over 2,625 meals for people in the Mid-South.

During this difficult time, we challenge NFRW clubs across the country to donate your canceled luncheon/meeting fee to the Food Bank.  #caringforamerica #RWOP #letsmakeadifference
