Club Awards Scholarship
Republican Women of Wickenburg, Arizona, presented two $2,500 scholarships to Wickenburg area students.
At the club's monthly May meeting, Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee made the presentation.
The scholarships were presented in honor of Rae Chornenky and Jan Hermsmeyer, long-time leaders in the National Federation of Republican Women and Arizona Federation of Republican Women. They have actively represented both organizations as dedicated leaders and mentors who represent those ideals.
The local students who received the scholarships are: Mark Blodgett of Wickenburg Christian Academy and Taylum Leavitt of Wickenburg High School. Both students will be using the scholarships to attend college.
