Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress, Florida's 13th District

A proud Hispanic-American, Anna Paulina Luna is a proven Republican fighter who is running to unseat former-Republican-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist in the 13th congressional district of Florida.

Anna is running because she wants to make Congress work for the American people; not the insiders. She is exposing that divisive identity politics is just the lie-fueled engine of the political left. As a young person, Anna will stand for timeless American values and Constitutional principles. She believes they are the solution to modern challenges. Anna is the antidote to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that Americans cannot pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

Anna is no stranger to violence, grief, tragedy and loss. Her own father struggled with addiction, and she lost her grandmother to AIDS which was contracted from heroin use. Other members of her extended family struggled with addiction and homelessness. Anna learned early in life she would have to fight her way out of her surroundings to avoid being trapped in the welfare system and surrounded by systemic violence. That’s exactly what she has done.

At age 19 Anna joined the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from basic training with honors and became president of the Airman’s Council, a professional development organization for USAF junior enlisted airmen. A recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal, Anna was honorably discharged after serving five years of active duty service in the USAF and one year of service in the Air National Guard. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of West Florida.

After her military service, Anna turned her love of country into her life’s work. She has served as the Director of Hispanic Engagement for Turning Point USA, and she is currently the chair of Hispanic Initiatives at PragerU. She has appeared on several conservative media outlets including Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, NEWSMAX TV, One American News and Blaze TV.

Anna and her husband, Andy, live in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Andy is a Special Forces operator stationed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa. The couple met while serving in the USAF.

She has been named a Young Gun by the National Republican Congressional Committee and is a state at-large member of the Florida Federation of Republican Women. To learn more about her campaign, visit her website or Facebook page.
