On November 18, the Indiana Federation of Republican Women installed newly-elected officers at the annual Holiday Brunch.

In an historic joint effort, the South Carolina and North Carolina Federations of Republican Women sponsored the "For Women, By Women" Presidential Forum at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, across the state line from Charlotte, NC.

On Friday, November 10, the United States Marine Corps celebrates nearly 250 years of service.  Every year, a Birthday Ball is hosted in Washington D.C., which ends in a cake cutting. This year, the 248th Marine Corps Birthday Ball will take place on Veterans Day.

This is a day to show appreciation for the living veterans who gave up a significant portion of their life while willingly exposing themselves to dangers in an effort to defend the freedom of our nation and its citizens. This is the time to say thank you to a veteran.

Wounded warrior care includes services that provide service members with recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration back to duty or into the communities where they live. The Department of Defense continuously evaluates the needs of various warrior care programs to make sure that a high level of care is provided to the current and future wounded soldiers, their families, and caregivers.
