Today, the National Guard celebrates its 387^th Birthday. The National Guard answers the call of both the State and the Nation, including deploying overseas and responding to natural disasters in the assistance of friends and neighbors. 

National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 16. Join the more than two million volunteers and supporters who will gather to Remember, Honor and Teach at more than 4,000 participating locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.

In memory of former Idaho FRW President Doriene Knight, Idaho Federation President Tracey Wasden and Twin Falls County RWC President Natalie Millington presented a Christmas potted plant to Doriene's family. 

The South Dakota Federation of Republican Women enjoyed a day of fellowship, Christmas cheer, and history-making last weekend. Special thank you to former Governor Dennis Daugaard, former First Lady Linda Daugaard, former First Lady Pat Miller, and sister-in-law to the late former First Lady Jean Rounds for joining us.
