Priebus appointed chief of staff for President-elect Trump
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 14, 2016
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) congratulates RNC Chairman Reince Priebus on his appointment as chief of staff for President-elect Donald J. Trump.
“This election cycle was like nothing we have ever experienced,” NFRW President Carrie Almond said. “The NFRW has been united behind the Trump-Pence ticket since their nomination, standing firm in the knowledge that Mr. Trump’s instincts and experience would result in excellent choices of staff and cabinet positions when he was elected president. President-elect Trump has proven once again that he is an expert at placing the right people in the right job at the right time.”
Priebus has long supported the NFRW, and friends from his home state of Wisconsin joined Almond in congratulating him. “I am thrilled to hear about Reince’s appointment. I know he will do an outstanding job and I wish him all the best. He is a friend of mine and a great friend of the NFRW, always willing to partner with our organization,” said Sue Lynch, past NFRW president, from Wisconsin.
The president of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women, Charlotte Rasmussen, echoed those sentiments. “Congratulations to Reince. He will serve President-elect Trump with the hard-working Midwestern work ethic that has guided his leadership at the RNC and will continue in the White House.”
