ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Ann Schockett, President of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued this statement following the 2020 Vice Presidential Debate between Vice President Mike Pence and his opponent Senator Kamala Harris.

“Tonight, Vice President Pence was the clear victor and an incredibly strong voice for the Trump administration’s remarkable achievements,” Schockett said. “With clarity and confidence, the Vice President won every area of the debate as he methodically exposed Kamala Harris’ deceptive fabrications.”

Pence successfully pointed to the facts of Harris’ radical record and the dangerous agenda of the Biden-Harris ticket, which proposes plans that would kill jobs, raise taxes on all Americans, destroy our nation’s energy sector and put our safety and security at risk.

“The Trump-Pence team continues to put Americans and America first by fighting to protect the essence of our country and what it stands for and to ensure that its values, freedoms and the rule of law are preserved for future generations.”
