Republican Women Across Nation Urged to Contact Their Senators, Representatives

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 9, 2019

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) has issued an action alert to Republican women across the nation, directing them to contact their Members of Congress to demand that they fulfill their duty to the American people and work with President Donald Trump to secure the border immediately.

“Last night, President Donald Trump took his case regarding the humanitarian and security crisis on our Southern Border straight to the American people,” the alert says. “While the Administration is negotiating in good faith, the Democrats continue to obstruct, holding funding for major portions of the federal government hostage.”

The alert includes facts and figures supporting President Trump’s position on border security, including how the crisis directly impacts the NFRW's priority issues of human trafficking and the opioid epidemic.

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest and most influential Republican women’s group in the nation, proudly representing the party that first made it possible for women to vote in the U.S. The NFRW works to increase the effectiveness and relevance of women in the cause of good government. Our mission remains to recruit and elect Republican candidates, promote the principles of the Republican Party, educate the public and inform the media.
