'Appears to Be Politically Motivated'

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 31, 2023
CONTACT: communications@nfrw.org

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Eileen Sobjack, President of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued this statement regarding the indictment of former U.S. President Donald Trump:

“It is unprecedented that a former U.S. president has been indicted. We are a nation of laws. No one is above the law, and no one should be targeted by our legal system. American people need to have confidence in their legal systems. Speaking on behalf of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), I am concerned that this indictment appears to be politically motivated. The NFRW will be watching as this proceeds.”

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest grassroots Republican women’s organization in the country. Building leaders, energizing communities and keeping America strong, NFRW empowers women from all backgrounds in the political process and provides a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political, government, and civic arenas.
