ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) announces that Pam Pollard, NFRW Finance Director and Oklahoma National Committeewoman, will attend the Iowa Caucus on January 15. This attendance marks the commitment by the NFRW to have representatives in all four first in the nation states.

Pollard's presence at the Iowa Caucus serves two purposes: supporting members of the Iowa Federation of Republican Women and actively engaging with Iowan voters.

“The Iowa Caucus is a revered tradition in American politics, and our participation is key to understanding and influencing the political direction of our country," Pollard stated. "It is vital for us to be on the ground, supporting and celebrating the hard work of our federation's women and hearing directly from those shaping the political landscape."

The NFRW recognizes the importance of the Iowa Caucuses as a barometer for the nation's political climate and as a platform for rallying behind the core values of the Republican Party. Pollard's attendance is aimed at ensuring that the voices and efforts of the NFRW members are both recognized and influential in the political process.

For more information about the NFRW’s involvement in the 2024 elections and their activities in Iowa, please contact NFRW Political Director Nikki Beaver at political@nfrw.org.

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest grassroots Republican women’s organization in the country. Building leaders, energizing communities and keeping America strong, NFRW empowers women from all backgrounds in the political process and provides a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political, government, and civic arenas.

Unlike primary elections, where registered voters cast ballots at polling places on election day, Iowa caucuses are meetings where voters gather to discuss and select candidates for their registered party. Political parties hold the caucuses, in contrast to most state-run primaries. google
