Priebus has long supported the NFRW, and friends from his home state of Wisconsin joined Almond in congratulating him. “I am thrilled to hear about Reince’s appointment. I know he will do an outstanding job and I wish him all the best. He is a friend of mine and a great friend of the NFRW, always willing to partner with our organization,” said Sue Lynch, past NFRW president, from Wisconsin.

The president of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women, Charlotte Rasmussen, echoed those sentiments. “Congratulations to Reince. He will serve President-elect Trump with the hard-working Midwestern work ethic that has guided his leadership at the RNC and will continue in the White House.”
