Being 79 this does not apply. No young grandchildren either. But for those with youngsters I think this is a great idea.

No children, no grand children. And something tells me all my kittens do not count. However, I will encourage the younger generations.

This is one of the worst ideas! Using other peoples money to give to another. This does not teach a child about capitalism. It teaches socialism. Kids will not learn how to be independent. Bad idea!!!

I don't know all the details on this. My question is the rules as far as how the money can be spent once 18. Can they just use how they want? Most 18 year olds will go party.
I agree with Barb, is this a handout to start the new generation believing the government just hands out money?
