For whom should the new White House Ballroom be named? Melania Trump, Dolley Madison or Jacqueline Kennedy?

I don’t think it should be named for anyone that the Democrats can reverse and take away. It might be better to name it something more generic like the Presidential Ballroom.

Your survey should have included a 4th option -- No Name. It is (or will be) and should be the White House Ballroom -- that says it all.
Naming public structures after individuals does nothing but create opportunities for conflict and further division.

I believe it needs to be something neutral. Although all 3 of those names are good, they also come with controversy. How about not naming it - It's is the White House Ball Room.

As much as I admire the names listed, I believe the name should have more of a significance to the history of our amazing 250 year old nation. Words that come to mind are America - Freedom - and I’m sure other descriptors can be used. Something, rather than someone, that denotes, “we the people” of a great nation.

No name unless it’s a bipartisan person, not in politics, who’s done extraordinary work in our country that benefited everyone. We don’t want the Dems changing it once it’s been established
