Going Green (for U.S. Rep. Mark Green) in the St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Red River Republican Women of Clarksville, Tennessee, participated in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Erin, Tennessee, on March 16, 2019.  This was a march for solidarity for newly-elected U. S. Representative Mark Green, formerly the state senator from District 22. Many of the Red River ladies worked on Rep. Green's first campaign.

The parade is an annual event attended by thousands across the state of Tennessee and beyond.  The Red River ladies drove a red truck donated by Jenkins and Wynne Honda and decorated with a wreath custom-made by club founding member, Amanda Rucknagel, who is now living in Arkansas with her military family. Candy was thrown to the children lining the streets.
