Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress, Tennessee's 1st District

Diana Harshbarger is an unapologetic conservative Trump Republican. She is running for Tennessee’s 1st Congressional District because she believes our nation is at a tipping point. She feels fringe liberals threaten the future of our country with their promises of socialism. She says President Trump needs an outsider like her who will have his back in Congress.

“Career politicians from both parties have failed the American people and East Tennessee,” Diana states. “They have had years to solve the problems that plague families and have had decades to change politics as usual. It is time for a dose of the right medicine.”

Diana was the first one in her family to graduate from college. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Tennessee State University and graduated from Mercer University College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Born in Kingsport and raised in the small neighboring town of Bloomingdale, Diana returned to Kingsport after completing her studies. She has been a licensed pharmacist since 1987 and a successful business owner for over 30 years.

An active member of the Kingsport community, Diana has taught Sunday school and has helped with her church’s mission work and other local non-profits. She is a leader in her field. As a business owner, Diana is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and a former board member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists.

As a practicing pharmacist, Diana knows about the horrible effects of Obamacare. She says health insurance companies and government bureaucrats are out of control and that authority over healthcare choices should be given back to patients and healthcare providers.

Enough is enough, according to Diana. “When America’s future, the futures of my son, grandsons and so many others in East Tennessee are on the line, it is time to get Tennessee Tough."

Diana has been named a Young Gun by the National Republican Congressional Committee and is a member of Greater Kingsport Republican Women. To learn more about her campaign, visit her website or Facebook page.
