Republican Nominee for U.S. House, Maryland's 3rd District
By Rebecca J. Horvath, Tennessee
Yuripzy Morgan understands the desire to achieve the American Dream. As a daughter of immigrants, an Army wife, mother of two, and now a congressional candidate, she has lived it.
An attorney turned radio show host, Yuripzy is running in Maryland’s 3rd congressional district against incumbent Democrat John Surbanes. The NRCC recently recognized her as an On the Radar candidate. She’s a member of the Severna Park Republican Women’s Club in her district, which is surrounded by Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington D.C.
Yuripzy’s experience hosting a conservative radio show provided a unique opportunity to connect with the listeners in her community and understand their frustrations with government and leadership. She began to realize she could help make both work for the people, instead of the other way around, and a candidate was born.
As she meets her future constituents, Yuripzy focuses on the most important issues she’ll fight for in Washington: crime and safety, the economy, education, energy independence, and supporting our military. She told local news website the Baltimore Fishbowl that the problems we face “will be solved by American creativity, not government regulation and overspending.”
Yuripzy is committed to being part of the solution and preserving the pursuit of the American Dream for generations to come.
