This is a day to show appreciation for the living veterans who gave up a significant portion of their life while willingly exposing themselves to dangers in an effort to defend the freedom of our nation and its citizens. This is the time to say thank you to a veteran.

Members of Republican Women of North Shelby County, Alabama, attended the November 3rd Shelby County Chamber luncheon featuring Senator Katie Britt, who gave an update on Washington and her recent trip to Israel.

Wounded warrior care includes services that provide service members with recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration back to duty or into the communities where they live. The Department of Defense continuously evaluates the needs of various warrior care programs to make sure that a high level of care is provided to the current and future wounded soldiers, their families, and caregivers.

West Mobile Republican Women's Club of Alabama is celebrating Veterans Day this year by donating three Patriotic Books to the Media Center at Dawes Intermediate School.

Palo Alto Republican Women Federated of California collected books for the Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Project. Thirty-four new and gently used books were donated to the VA Hospital in Palo Alto to be distributed to different departments within the hospital to bless our service men and women.
