Club Hosts Membership Drive Barbecue Luncheon
South Baldwin Republican Women hosted an amazing barbecue luncheon on April 8. Third Vice President and membership chair Marlene Nester organized the event. Our hospitality committee decorated the event center beautifully in red, white, and blue.
The program opened with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Marlene spoke about the purpose of our club and why she joined. Then, she had each committee chair give an overview of their current projects, including our Caring for America project.
The luncheon was a big success. Several ladies joined our club, and one new associate member.
