Club Enjoys Trip to Trump Burger in Flatonia

On April 12, members of the Lost Pines Republican Women headed to Flatonia, Texas, for lunch at Trump Burger. 

After getting recommendations from members who had eaten at Trump Burger, we decided to actually run a trip there. Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) enjoys doing social events and visiting surrounding areas. We've run trips to the Painted Churches, to the Alamo, to photograph bluebonnets in early spring, and to other locales throughout Central Texas.  

We carpooled to Flatonia. Bastrop to Flatonia is just about an hour's drive through beautiful Texas countryside. What a great time! This location has a wonderful collection of Trump shirts and other gear. We warned people to definitely expect to expand their Trump wardrobe!  The food was great, especially the big, beautiful burgers. As always, the comraderie and conversation made the event lots of fun. Check out who posed with us in our group photo.

Members, spouses and friends really enjoyed the trip. And, while it might seem a long drive to non-Texans, an hour to Flatonia and back though farm fields and ranches feels like a hop, skip and a jump for us. We're definitely planning on doing another road trip there soon.
