Club Supports Young Republicans Through Scholarship, Graduation Programs
South Baldwin Republican Women had the privilege of working with the Young Republicans Club at Robertsdale High School this past year. These students visited our club on two separate dates and attended the congressional debate sponsored by the Baldwin County Republican Party. We also provided several speakers for their meetings at the school.
Our essay contest was designed to encourage and support these young people as they move forward. They were asked to discuss how they see their generation shaping the future of conservative values in America and to address the most pressing issues facing young conservatives today. The essays were read and judged by some of our club members. This year's scholarship was in the amount of $1,000.
We also donated graduation cords to all of the seniors in the Young Republican Club for graduation.
They are our future, and we want to support these young people.
