Club Hosts Afternoon Tea Fundraiser
The Loudoun County Republican Women's Club Afternoon Tea Fundraiser was a wonderful afternoon with powerful women speakers. Sharon Virts, entrepreneur, artist, and best-selling author, spoke about the power of conservative women. Miss Virginia 2023 Katie Rose spoke about her faith and being a conservative woman as well as Charlie Kirk's influence on the younger generation. Carrie Sheffield, journalist, broadcaster and policy analyst sang the National Anthem.
We enjoyed fellowship, delicious treats and tea with like-minded women as well as candidates and elected officials. We had several state federation representatives, presidents of our sister clubs Bull Run RWC and RW Old Dominion, as well as past presidents of the club attend. Our silent auction was a success as well, and everyone went home with wonderful items.
