Cumberland County Republican Women's Club enjoyed an unforgettable Fellowship Cruise to Grand Turks and Puerto Plata in July 2025.

Organized by club treasurer Sharon Conley, who owns A Touch of Class Travel Agency, the cruise brought together members, family, and friends for meaningful fellowship, team building, and shared adventure. From sunlit beach excursions in Grand Turks to exploring vibrant Puerto Plata, the cruise was filled with laughter, connection, and shared adventure. It was more than a trip — it was a chance to strengthen friendships, create lasting memories, and build deeper connections among our club members and their loved ones.

As both a travel professional and dedicated club leader, Sharon saw an opportunity to make this cruise not only a fellowship experience but also a strategic team-building moment for CCRWC. The positive energy and unity that emerged from shared shoreside explorations, deck activities, and group events aboard the ship reinforced the value of travel as a way to forge stronger bonds and inspire teamwork within our organization.

Equally exciting, this year Sharon introduced the concept of travel as a fundraising opportunity, showcasing how group trips can serve a dual purpose: offering members an incredible experience while also supporting the financial health of the club.

Sharon’s visionary approach demonstrates that travel can be both enjoyable and purposeful — a way to give back while having fun.
