IFRW To Provide State Fair-Goers with Golf Cart Rides
The Illinois Federation of Republican Women has rented a six-passenger golf cart to help mainly elderly individuals and people with disabilities who need assistance getting from the parking area into the state fairgrounds.
You won’t have trouble finding us. Our patriotic ride will be decked out in American flags, the IFRW logo, and “LET’S GO GIRLS!” across the top. Think Uber—but with more flags and absolutely no surge pricing. Anyone needing a lift can call or text our special phone just for this at 309-416-1990. We have a GOP tent volunteer in charge of it daily. And yes, we mean ANYONE. Republican, Democrat, Independent, undecided—or someone who simply parked way too far away and is already regretting their shoe choice.
It’s a fun, bipartisan way to serve fairgoers while introducing people to the fast growing Illinois Federation of Republican Women. We had ten clubs donate $100 to sponsor a "day" of the cart. They get a shoutout on our FB page and we decorate the cart with their logo and info on that day.
It's been the big hit of the Illinois State Fair!
