Caring for America: Assisting Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America
Montgomery County Republican Women is assisting Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America as one of our Caring for America projects this year.
Camp Hope houses and counsels veterans suffering from PTSD. As many as 75 veterans are housed at Camp Hope at any given time. In addition, up to 450 other individuals come for weekly meetings that have been set up througout the country.
At our February meeting, members brought new bath towels and face cloths for veterans housed at Camp Hope. In addition, many members gave monetary contributions. The support from the members of Montgomery County Republican Women was amazing.
Our club will continue its support of Camp Hope PTSD Foundation of America throughout the year.
