Spring Fundraiser and Membership Drive Has Standing Room Only Crowd at April Meeting

Temecula Valley Republican Women Federated of California was thankful to meet in person in April. After a year of no in-person meetings, TVRWF met in March but was limited to 30 people because of COVID-19 restrictions. We planned April as our big "Welcome Back" Fundraiser and Membership drive and it was a spectacular event. Women were excited to be together again! There was excitment in the room, and we had a wonderful time just being together again.

Pastor Tim Thompson was our keynote speaker along with a local Temecula City Councilwoman, Jessica Alexander.  They helped our members and guests see the importance of getting involved in our local politics; about the importance of going to school board meetings, city council meetings and the importance of working together and getting engaged.  We had over 100 people attend who were not members of our Club.

Our CFRW Region 7 Director, Gale Hunt, also spoke, reminding us that to win the battle, we need to get into the battle.  One of our own, Valarie Skovron, also spoke. She is also the Vice-Chair of our local Riverside County Caucus and informed our members and guests of the work that the local GOP party is doing.

It was good to be together again!  If you are still not meeting due to Covid-19, I encourage you to find a place to meet!  Your members will be so glad to get together again!
