Club Volunteers with Congressman Gosar and Sheriff Lamb to Help Clean Border Crossing Area
Last week members of Queen Creek-San Tan Valley Republican Women Federated joined a volunteer desert clean-up led by Congressman Paul Gosar and Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb.
Volunteers picked up trash in the hot Arizona desert in one of many areas that are known to be frequented by groups, including cartels and human traffickers entering the United States illegally. The team came across loads of garbage, including carpet shoes, camoflagued clothes and bottles left behind by illegal immigrants.
There is a truly a crisis happening at the border, and we're glad to have Congressman Gosar, Sheriff Lamb and others who continue to work to keep our residents safe and draw attention to these dangers.
