ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Eileen Sobjack, President of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued this statement following the State of the Union Address:

“President Joe Biden tried to paint a rosy picture during his State of the Union Address tonight, but the American people are not fooled. Inflation is at a 40-year high, we’re dependent on foreign oil due to the shut-down of the Keystone Pipeline, our borders aren’t secure, mandates have crippled the flow of goods, crime is out of control, and the list goes on and on. And perhaps most alarming, President Biden is weak in the eyes of foreign leaders. It’s time for change!”

Founded in 1938, the National Federation of Republican Women is the largest grassroots Republican women’s organization in the country. Building leaders, energizing communities and keeping America strong, NFRW empowers women from all backgrounds in the political process and provides a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political, government, and civic arenas.
