Club Hosts Civil Rights Icon Clarence Henderson at March Meeting

Gaston County Republican Women's Club of North Carolina had the honor of hosting civil rights icon Clarence Henderson at its March meeting. Mr. Henderson was the definition of courage and hope in 1960 when he sat at the Woolworth counter in Greensboro, N.C., waiting to be served. He continued fighting for civil rights, freedom and conservative values and has been an inspiration to generations. He challenged the club members and all Republicans to stand up and work together to stop the decline of our schools, our communities and our country.  Courage is the solution!
