ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-  Ocean County Federation of Republican Women (OCFRW) Chairwoman and National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) Campaign Chair Noriko Kowalewski recently served as a panelist at the 5th Annual NJGOP Statewide Leadership Summit held at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City.

The panel discussion, Republican Women:  Leading Our Party Forward, included top women in the New Jersey Republican Party who serve in elected office as well as those who work to recruit, elect and empower Republican women behind the scenes across the state.

The panel was moderated by Regina Egea, President of Garden State Initiative and included Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, Ocean County Commissioner and National Committeewoman Ginny Haines, Vice Chairwoman of the NJGOP Darlene Shotmeyer, Chairwoman of the Morris County GOP Laura Ali and Executive Director of Women for Stronger New Jersey Stacy Schuster.

Noriko provided in depth insight on how to empower women to get involved with the Republican Party at the grassroots level through her experiences working as a campaign manager as well as serving as Campaign Chair for the National Federation of Republican Women and Chairwoman of OCFRW.

"We need to recognize women who have that desire for public service.  We need to be mentors and help give them voices.  So many women have great potential to be great leaders."

The Ocean County Federation of Republican Women is a chapter of New Jersey Federation of Republican Women.  Our mission is to empower women from all backgrounds to participate in the goals and activities of the Republican Party.  We promote this mission by utilizing the talents and connections of our membership to host events, encourage women to develop into political leaders, and support the candidates and policies of the Republican Party all for the betterment and advancement of the people of Ocean County and the State of New Jersey.
