Board Members Attend Retreat, Share Ideas
Forsyth County Republican Women's Club (NC) board members, committee chairs and committee members attended a retreat at the Mary Alice Warren Center in Lewisville, N.C., on January 4.
Treasurer Heather Parker organized the retreat by selecting the venue, providing food, and serving as moderator. She opened the retreat with a bingo icebreaker, conducted a SWOT analysis and solicited ideas for every area of responsibility.
Member Cornelia Groce presented a brief description of the NFRW Achievement Awards Program. North Carolina Federation of Republican Women Central Vice President Gay Dillard, who also attended, pointed out that the Achievement Awards Program is a "template for success."
Attendees were enthusiastic about the retreat and ideas that were generated.
