Club Achieves Victory With 'One Hundred and Won' Book Drive

The Republican Women of Kerr County recently concluded their third book drive, "One Hundred and Won," a victory for all involved. Over 101 books were donated by club members and local citizens, which in turn were donated to local public elementary schools and an area public high school.

Club Pays Annual Tribute to Fallen Heroes, Veterans at Bay Pines National Cemetery

Members of Pinellas Federated Republican Women got together and spent the morning placing flags by the headstones of our fallen heroes and veterans. The overall participation of the community was fantastic and very well-attended. The club has been participating in this tribute yearly since it was chartered.

Club Wows Valencia County with Titanic Anniversary Dinner Theater

On April 12, Rio Grande Federated Republican Women brought an interactive fundraiser to the community. World-renowned actress Van Ann Moore (one of the club's own) fascinated 135 guests with a two-act dramatization of the life of Titanic survivor, “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.” Attendees of the event dressed up for the occasion, and upon arrival, received a personalized boarding pass with the name and bio of a Titanic passenger. Later in the evening, the guest learned whether their passenger survived or perished.

Republican Women of North Shelby County donated three carloads of supplies - diapers, wipes, clothing, toys and equipment - to the Stork's Nest shop for new moms.
