April is Arab American Heritage Month. Our Arab American veterans are often overlooked as a distinguished part of our military history. Take time to research our Arab American veterans and read their stories, and to thank them for their services.

Today and every March 29, Vietnam Veterans Day is set aside as a day for Americans to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served in the Vietnam War. Officially designated in 2017 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day by President Donald Trump, the holiday is marked by ceremonies and recognition across the U.S.

The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in combat and honors the recipient’s extraordinary heroism and risk of life while demonstrating the values of Courage, Sacrifice, Citizenship, Integrity, Commitment, and Patriotism. 

As a result of the heroic duties of dogs, March 13^th is now National K9 Veterans Day. As a nation, this is an opportunity for us to learn more about the service of K9 veterans, including the service of various dogs, along with all of the specific types of training the dogs go through. We are indebted to the service of these heroes as they protect our nation at the side of our brave military.

The Political & Campaign Awards results for the third period (July – December 2022) are in. NFRW members racked up 4,608,026 hours and made 3,064,191 calls, totaling an astounding $138,240,780 volunteer dollars contributed to Republican campaigns across the country.
