Republican Nominee for U.S. Congress, Michigan's 10th District

When she announced her candidacy for the 10th Congressional District of Michigan, Lisa McClain stated, “I am running because I believe I can make a difference. Washington is broken. For years we have sent politicians there, and we see the results. I have the real-life business, leadership and people experience that will make a difference … and I am not going to play politics or games. I am going to get things done for the citizens of the 10th District and all of America, as a citizen legislator.”

Taking a tough, practical and ethical approach to Congress, Lisa describes herself as a conservative outsider with a proven success record as a business leader. She feels this is exactly what Congress needs.

“Over the last few years I have seen the importance of the political process,” she says. “In discussions with friends and other business associates, I’ve been encouraged to run for office. My background in business, plus being a mother, wife and volunteer, has prepared me to act as a true representative of the people, and I will work to be a servant leader for the citizens of the 10th district.”

As senior vice president of Hantz Group, a southeastern Michigan-based company she helped establish and build from the ground up, Lisa has played a major role in building the company to more than 700 current employees with 50,000-plus clients. Hantz Group has more than 25 offices, including three locations in the 10th congressional district.

Lisa grew up in Stockbridge, a Michigan farming community. She and her husband, Mike, and their family have lived in the 10th congressional district for 20 years. She is involved in numerous charities in Michigan.

Lisa has been named a Young Gun by the National Republican Congressional Committee and is a member of Republican Women of West Central Michgan. To learn more about her campaign, visit her website or Facebook page.
