SDFRW Presents Each Soldier with Custom Brigade Pin, Personalized Thank You Cards

The South Dakota Federation of Republican Women was very honored to join Governor Kristi Noem, U.S. Senator John Thune, Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken, and 2,000 other South Dakotans welcoming home the 196th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade! These brave patriots spent the last 10 months deployed to Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

To show our appreciation, SDFRW President Penny Carpenter Sattgast and 1st Vice-President Catherine Barranco presented each soldier with a custom pin featuring the returning brigade’s unit patch as well as “thank you” cards expressing SDFRW members’ sincere gratitude.

Special thank you to the Armed Forces Committee Chair Sandy Marlette and Vice-Chair Sandy Davalos for your hard work on this amazing project!!
