Wood County Republican Women's Club of Ohio celebrated its sixth anniversary at Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg. The original club began in 1935, so we have a great legacy to live up to. The club was rechartered in 2016. The club also awarded two $1,000 scholarships to female high school graduates who will attend college this fall.

NFRW President Eileen Sobjack reminds us to give a hat tip this Father's Day to all the guys who take their responsibilities seriously, who are not only men, but true gentlemen.

Republican Federated Women of The Villages, Lake County Republican Women, and Republican Federated Women of Citrus and Sumter Counties were co-sponsors for Women for Moody - a rallying luncheon for Ashley Moody, the Attorney General for our great state of Florida.

As we raise Old Glory on Flag Day on June 14th, let us also celebrate the United States Army, who has had millions of soldiers choose to serve to protect the freedom of our great nation.

June 12th is not considered a separate day for women veterans but rather serves as a tribute and recognition for all women have brought to the Armed Forces since the Revolutionary War.
