Esther Joy King spent her formative years as part of a missionary family serving along the U.S.-Mexico border in Juarez. This experience taught her the values of faith, family and sacrifice, lessons she later used during her military service in Afghanistan, as a JAG Corp reservist, and as a lawyer for the State of Illinois.
